Clarification Regarding Affiliation with the "Rally Mecca" Facebook Page

AMSAG (Australian Motor Sport Action Group) has become aware of recent posts and content published on the third-party Facebook page operating under the name "Rally Mecca."

We wish to issue this statement to clearly define the relationship between our organisation and the aforementioned social media page.

AMSAG wishes to unequivocally state that "Rally Mecca" is an independent, non-official entity. This page is not owned, operated, managed, or formally endorsed by AMSAG or any of its official representatives or committees.

The views, opinions, statements, and content published on the "Rally Mecca" Facebook page do not reflect the official position, values, or policies of AMSAG.

AMSAG is solely responsible for content released via its official channels, which include:

We urge all members, competitors, and followers to rely only on AMSAG’s official channels for accurate information regarding events, rules, regulations, and official announcements.

We appreciate the community bringing these matters to our attention and thank you for your continued support of AMSAG and its activities.

Whilst we acknowledge the right of individuals and members of AMSAG to post content on their own pages, we must insist that any official information relating to the club will be shared on our own pages for dissemination to our members where appropriate.

If information has not been shared by AMSAG on our official channels, then please take the information on face value and not as any means of approved or official communications to members and the wider motorsport community.
