AASA & AMSAG Clarify Conditions for QLD Rally Registration use

Competitor Update – QLD Rally Rego with use of AMSAG Logbooks.
It has been brought to our attention that there may be some misinformation being disseminated regarding vehicles running on QLD Rally Rego using AMSAG Logbooks for the Working Dog Rallysprint.
In order to set the record straight, AASA & AMSAG wish to advise:
- QLD Rally Rego cars can compete in AASA-permitted AMSAG events with an AMSAG Logbook
- No AASA Passport required
- Must carry Authority to Operate + Rally Licence when in use for Competition.
This clarification ensures competitors can run with confidence and without unnecessary duplication.

We have recently added new AMSAG approved scrutineers to our list in QLD. The following scrutineers will be able to both issue an AMSAG Logbook, and complete pre-event scrutineering for the Working Dog Rallysprint:
Gold Coast - Paul Waller (Rallytorque)
Brisbane - Matthew Dolan (Future Auto Service)
Sunshine Coast - Murray Coote (MCA Suspension) & Dylan Richardson (Delta Autosport)
Townsville - Simon Jansen (Automotive Repair Centre) & Lee Williams (Lee Williams Mechanical Services)
