2025 Kumho Tyres Bago Rally Postponed

The 2025 Kumho Tyres Bago Rally has unfortunately been postponed until 9th August 2025.
Road damage caused by the recent flooding event in the region has forced the closure of all state forests in the area. This closure is preventing the road team from accessing the planned stages to determine what can and can't be used for the event. In fact, the team aren't event allowed to enter the forests to collect our Forest Closed signage such is the nature of the forest closure restrictions.
In order to give the event the best chance of still proceeding, a decision has been made to postpone until Saturday 9th August. This will allow time for Forestry to re-open the forests and then allow the road team to inspect the route and confirm if enough roads can be used to provide a satisfactory event.
If, once the roads are checked, we cannot gain enough competitive distance to make the event worthwhile, then we will cancel the event for 2025 and look forward to bringing the event back in 2026.
We will keep everyone informed of any future changes as soon as more information comes to hand.
An email has been sent to all current entrants to request entry fee refunds if the new date is no longer suitable. Any new entries will be re-opened once we can confirm that the event is definitely proceeding on the new date.
