Important Announcements for Members

We have some Important Announcements to make to all members.

Firstly, it has been brought to our attention that there has been no formal announcement of the winners of the 2022 AMSAG Southern Cross Rally Series. We apologise immensely to all of those involved, this oversight should not have happened, and we will be making posts accordingly shortly announcing the winners in the various series and classes.

Secondly, we have been made aware that due to the clash of events with the Mitta Mtta Rally and Taree, that there will be no Tyre Trucks available at the event. Both MRF and Hoosier have confirmed that any competitors can order tyres through them, and they will be shipped to you prior to the event. An email has been sent to all current entrants this morning. Please get in contact with the Tyre suppliers to order your tyres if need be. There has also been an adjustment to the running schedule for Taree due to us having to drop one stage and re-configure the event. A Bulletin will be released shortly with the updated distances.

And finally, the Armidale Rallysprint has had to be postponed. Unfortunately this has been as a result of two factors. On the original planned date, the New England Sporting Car Club were unable to gather enough officials to make the event run, a revised date as floated for later in the year however planned road works by council on a portion of the course will be conducted from June onwards, meaning the stage would not be able to run. The club is investigating other options for stages and will make a decision on whether the event can proceed at a later date, or if it will need to be put off until next year again. We will make an announcement as soon as we receive advice from NESCC.
