2022 AMSAG Southern Cross Rally Series Calendar

Further to our previous announcement in July last year AMSAG are pleased to confirm our 2022 Calendar for the AMSAG Southern Cross Rally Series.

Due to the current Covid climate, we have made the decision to put the Midstate Freight Rallysprint Series on hold temporarily.

We feel that having a large number of events is detrimental due to the ever evolving situation with COVID and potential wet weather.  As a result, we will look to move forward in 2022 with a reduced amount of events with some back up dates in case of situations arising causing an event to not be able to run on the original date.

The calendar will be as follows:-

12th-13th March - Round 1 - Taree Rally. We will also have a back up date of 23rd-24th July for this event.

7th May - Round 2 - Orange Rally. We will also have a back up date of 6th August for this event.

3rd September - Round 3 - Rosewood Rally

8th October - Round 4 - Walcha Rally

5th November - Round 5 - Oberon Rally

Due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be conducting a Test Day this year.

We feel like our 2022 Calendar brings a mixture of everything, 2 day events, day night events and daylight only, something for everyone.

In addition to the Southern Cross Rally Series Events, the New England Sporting Car Club will also be holding their popular Echidna Gully Rallysprint as a standalone event on 22nd October. The original date selected by NESCC was due to be in April, however this was taken by the National Capital Rally in the ARC Calendar reshuffle. Hence the club has moved to an October date. We are aware this clashes now with the Monaro Stages Rally, however the October date was the only alternative date that worked for the NESCC.

Here's hoping we can get all events off the ground in 2022.
