Entries for North Coast Rally on hold

ANNOUNCEMENT
Entries for the 2021 North Coast Rally which were due to be opened today are currently on hold.
A protest and forestry blockade by an environmentalist group is currently underway in the forest area that was planned to be used for the event. Whilst we had received confirmation from Forestry that we were OK to use the roads on our planned route, Police had concerns over stage security due to the proximity of the blockade to the stages.
In the interest of safety for our competitors and officials, we have made the decision to try and relocate the event to another forest area.
The current plan is to try and find another local area that is unaffected by the storms earlier this year and is also not currently being used for harvesting, which is proving quite difficult.
We plan on making a further announcement early next week.
