Important Announcements regarding Armidale and Bulahdelah
Category: Event Updates
Following discussions with the organising team for the 2021 Regional Australia Bank Armidale Rallysprint, a decision has been made to proceed with the event as planned this weekend.
Entries are still open until Wednesday, but we ask that if you do intend on running that you do not leave it until the last minute to enter.
A reminder as well that if you make a payment via direct deposit, please email a copy of your payment confirmation to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can mark your entry as paid for you.
Also, if you do intend on attending either as a competitor, official or spectator, meals are being provided by the Echidna Gully Function Centre and must be purchased and paid for BEFORE the event. Head to the AMSAG Store on the website to purchase your meal tickets. You will not be able to purchase tickets on the day.
With regards to the 2021 Bulahdelah Rally, following an inspection of the roads within the last week, a decision has been made to cancel the event for 2021. The stages to be used suffered from significant deterioration during the storms/floods in the region earlier this year to the point where it would not be safe to conduct the event. Unfortunately Forestry are not in a position to have these roads repaired this year, therefore it is not feasible to try and postpone it to a later date.
We didn’t take this decision lightly, however we feel it is in the best interests of competitors to provide you with a great event like we have in previous years and this just was not possible to obtain this year. Anyone who has paid for their entry and not already requested a refund or a credit to a future event will be contacted to confirm what they would like to do with their entry fee.
